Welcome to
St Mary's Catholic Primary!

    Learning, Loving, Caring and Sharing

A very warm welcome to the St Mary’s Catholic Primary School website. We are delighted that you have expressed an interest in our school.

Our website is designed to give you an insight into our school family, our values and achievements as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

St Mary’s is a Catholic Voluntary Aided school in the town centre of Wrexham which has served the parishes of St Mary’s Cathedral, Llay, Rossett, Overton, Llangollen and Corwen for over 100 years. St Mary’s caters for children aged between 3 and 11 years.

St Mary’s is a very happy, friendly and inclusive school community where our school Mission Statement: ‘Learning and Loving, Caring and Sharing’ through the message of Christ’, is lived out by all. We are very much a ‘family school’ where we cultivate and nurture attitudes of support, care and respect in all activities and relationships.

The community of children, staff, parents and governors work together successfully to ensure that St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is a safe learning environment where children can achieve their full potential in terms of their academic, social, moral and cultural development.  We recognise each child as an individual and strive to help them develop the talents given to them by God.

We offer an engaging and stimulating curriculum both in school and through a wide range of extra- curricular experiences and educational visits, and are fully committed to enriching the lives of all St Mary’s children, now and in the future.

If you wish to visit the school, please telephone to make an appointment on 01978 352406 or email us at mailbox@stmarys-wxm-pri.wrexham.sch.uk

We hope that you find our website useful. If you have any suggestions about how we could make improvements, please do not hesitate to share your ideas with us.

    Yours sincerely,

    Mrs Rachel Acton
